Google Code Jam Rhode Island

Last night Cliff Choinoire, our IntraCity Geeks CTO and co-founder of CareerDevs, facilitated the final meetup for Rhode Island coders in preparation for this weekend’s Google CodeJam {Rhode Island}. We hosted several meetups leading up to this weekend’s competition covering walkthroughs featuring algorithm design, best practices, demo’s and Q&A sessions.

Google CodeJam is one of the world’s largest and coolest algorithm coding competitions. Coders can choose literally ANY programming language they desire. Code for Glory, Honor… And swag. Oh, and also for $15,000 and an all-expenses paid trip to Dublin Ireland (to compete in the final round).

Our meetups review what the codejam is and some questions from last years. If you’ve already gone through the Google CodeJam’s previous questions and found one that you answered and would like to review it or if there is a question you’d like to try and discuss the solution as a group feel free to be ready to bring it up at the meetup.

Who should attend? Beginners, intermediate and advanced developers. This is a one of a kind learning opportunity, please don’t be intimidated. The meetups are great ways to test the waters and get your feet wet!

If you are interested in attending our future Google CodeJam RI meetups, please fill out the following form. Note if you’ve already filled out the form from the prior meetup you are already registered for this meetup. Once you fill out the form, you will receive an email with information about dates, times, and locations.

Hope to see you there!
